  21. On Thursday, I spoke with Newek tech support, trying to get some info on
  22. this absurd delay in shipping LW due to a lack of manuals. They told me that
  23. the real delay was, in fact, because Allen & the programmers had been
  24. re-coding LW. Somehow that serious morphing bug had slipped through their
  25. internal beta testing (tech support still has no Alpha machines), so NewTek
  26. assumed the code was good and pressed 500 CD's. When the first few got out
  27. to places like Amblin, the bug quickly became evident. The tech guy also
  28. told me that a good, updated version had just arrived in Topeka last week.
  29. As to when it'll ship, I can't say. It would be nice if they would just put
  30. it on their FTP site, like the Intel upgrade. Maybe us Alpha LW owners could
  31. bug them about this??????
